Jharkhand signs MoU with Microsoft in ‘Momentum Jharkhand’

Jharkhand government and Microsoft India today inked an MoU to leverage cloud technologies to drive the state’s digital ambitions. The MoU will support the state government to explore cloud, machine learning and mobile based solutions to improve citizen services and provide better facilities in the fields of education and agriculture, a Microsoft India release said. The MoU was signed at the ‘Momentum Jharkhand: Global Investors’ Summit & Trade Exhibition’. Jharkhand government has been using an advanced IT infrastructure to provide citizen services and driving technology led programmes like Skill India and Digital India. The MoU will help the government access the best of Microsoft’s technology and expertise for the improvement of digital services to citizens and drive digital inclusion in the state, the release said. 19th Feb, 2011 : The one-day-international (ODI) ICC World Cup 2011 finally kicked off today, and the first match, India vs Bangladesh (Ind vs Ban), at Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, saw India whip Bangladesh by 87 runs. The match saw a blitzkreig from Virender Sehwag, who almost reached the highest score in ODIs (200* of Sachin Tendulkar in Hyderabad, vs South Africa, in 2010). His rampaging innings of 175 in 140 balls saw India score a huge 370/4 in its 50 overs. Virat Kohli ably supported Virender Sehwag, with an almost equally fierce century - 100 off 83 balls, not out. List of All Schemes Announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Following is the list of sops that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced during his speech on the eve of the New Year. 1. For the poor: Two new schemes under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna. Home loans for poor and middle class people up to Rs 9 lakh will get 4 percent exemption on interest and 3 percent for up to Rs 12 lakh loans. 2. NEW DELHI: MS Dhoni (91 not out) and Gautam Gambhir (97) helped India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets to win the ICC World Cup 2011 at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. Dhoni joined legendary Kapil Dev to lift the coveted trophy for India. Dhoni played captain's innings in the summit clash as he hit two sixes and eight fours in his 79-ball innings and raced to fifty in just 52 balls. The skipper added a record 109-run partnership with Gambhir for the fourth wicket, which was highest for India in World Cup finals, to chase the challenging 275-run target.
